Throughout May, the Conserva Pucheg\u00fc\u00edn campaign will host events in three key locations: Cocham\u00f3, Chile; Santiago, Chile; and Jackson Hole, USA. At each event, we\u2019ll share <\/span>Cocham\u00f3 por Siempre<\/span><\/i>, a short film by Patagonia Films that captures the ongoing fight to protect one of the planet\u2019s last climate refuges: the Cocham\u00f3 Valley and Fundo Pucheg\u00fc\u00edn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through these screenings and conversations, we invite local communities and nature lovers to learn about and join the final stretch of this international conservation effort led by Puelo Patagonia in partnership with The Nature Conservancy, Freyja Foundation, Patagonia, and the Wyss Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>The tour will kick off with a special event designed for the friends and neighbors of Cocham\u00f3, many of whom took part in the film. This will be an intimate gathering to reflect on and celebrate the beauty of the place they call home \u2013 its traditions, waters, ancient forests, and the collective commitment to protect it forever. \n<\/b>Opening night of Chile\u2019s most important nature film festival<\/b>
\n<\/b>As part of the Santiago Wild Fest\u2019s opening night, <\/span>Cocham\u00f3 por Siempre<\/span><\/i> will be screened, followed by a panel discussion with members of the Conserva Pucheg\u00fc\u00edn coalition. The event will engage attendees with the story of this threatened region, the vision behind its protection, and the ways we can all be part of its long-term conservation.
